TANDBERG Day of Natural Communication 2009
On June 10th of 2010 the third edition of the TANDBERG Day of Natural Communication took place, a yearly event in which TANDBERG takes the opportunity to thank its business partners for all their hard work over the past year, to introduce the latest innovations and to incite them to do more good work.
In 2007 TANDBERG and its partners enjoyed the silence of the Dutch skies in hot air balloons; in 2008 they competed against each other in RIB boats and on powerful tractors. This year it was time for some natural power: nothing but muscle, wind and water power.
On June 10th 2008 TANDBERG's partners arrived at the SunSeaBar in Wijk aan Zee, on the coast of Holland. Here everybody was welcomed with an extensive lunch, after which the group was divided into teams. The day was beautiful, not too much wind and plenty of sun. All teams had to partake in all 4 activities:
- Coast rafting: navigate your raft together with your team over a course while waves crash onto the shore.
- Sea Kayakking: in your own private flat kayak, ride the waves hitting the shore.
- Beach Lacrosse: "the fastest game in the world!" This combination of basketball, football and hockey is sure to bring out the best, and if you're a competitive person, the worst in you.
- Radar Golf: How is your swing? With a professional radar gun reading your speed and an instructor to give you tips to improve your game, you can finally find out who is the best.
At the end of the day all participants were treated to cocktails and snacks. The best performing partners were rewarded with bottles of champagne and flowers. As the sun set everybody left with smiles on their faces.
