Cisco Telepresence Open 2011
Due to the acquisition of TANDBERG by Cisco, this year the TANDBERG Open was rebranded into Cisco Telepresence Open 2011. The idea of the event however did not change: the ultimate networking afternoon for Cisco Telepresence business partners, customers and prospects who enjoy to play golf , or to learn how to golf.
The event took place on the 4th of October. At the registation desk, guests where provided with branded poloshirts and of course golf balls. A healthy lunch was enjoyed, during which some professionals warmed up a bit at the driving range. During the afternoon , 16 teams competed for the Cisco Telepresence Open Cup (9 holes), whilst during 3 golf clinics in 3 levels those without the golf permission learned some new techniques
A team from Jibe! Events & Incentives ensured all went well behind the screens. From calculating team handicaps to briefing the 16 team captains, from ensuring everyone had a buggy to providing the necessary technical equipment for welcome and price giving ceremony. We look forward to the 2012 edition of the Cisco Telepresence Open!
