Catch the wind

The IT Sails sailing regatta is an annual networking- and sailingevent for the Dutch IT industry. The event is an initiative from Jibe! Events & Incentives. If your company operates in the IT sector, you have the opportunity to test your sailing skills against other IT companies with a select group of business relations (customers, prospects, partners).

The winning team takes home the IT Sails trophy, currently in possession of the Jibe! Relations Team, after Atos Origin won the trophy in 2007 for the first time. The IT Sails sailing regatta offers you a unique opportunity to network with your relations in an informal and stimulating setting, to have your department’s team coached to jointly deliver a peak performance, or to thank a group of business partners for their commitment.

Jibe! organises IT Sails 2010 in cooperation with Waterlandyacht on the 12th of October. The 2010 edition of IT SAILS will take place in Monnickendam, whereby we will compete at the so-called 'Markermeer'.  New this year  is that we 'not only offer the possiblity to join with one of our chartererd yachts, you can also compete with your own sailing boat! Jibe! Events doesn’t only offer the Waterlandyacht boats but you can also actually compete with you very own sailing boat. Using an individual handicapt, each team will have the opportunity to win the IT SAILS cup. If you don’t have your own sailing boat but you do want to participate, you can ‘buy’ a sailing boat for a day including all sailing gear and other materials you need.
