An unique industrial venue in Amsterdam ‘Zaanstreek’

In the middle of the ‘Zaanstreek’, next to the famous Dutch river the Zaan, you can find one of the best preserved warehouses of the 19^th century. The Hollandia monument is one of the warehouses. A unique and renovated industrial venue which is accessible for seminars, meetings or drinks.  DeStoomhal is open since May 2010.

In the morning we’ll serve welcome coffees with delicious cupcakes. Your meeting and/or presentation will start in your own personal setting; theatre, classroom, U-shape or cabaret. At lunchtime we will serve a various lunch buffet with sandwiches, fruit and drinks.

Ducktrail

When it’s time for a break, we’ll take care of a spectacular activity. This activity is one of our highlights in the Amsterdam area. Your group will explore the Dutch countryside in a very creative and fun way driving real 2CV cars.

After a short training the group will be divided into teams and all teams will depart for the Drucktrail Rally with their own 2CV car. During the rally, the group will explore the countryside of the Amsterdam Zaanstreek (the first industrial area in the world in the 1700s) and the Beemster (World Heritage Site). At the end of the day, everyone will meet at deStoomhal where they can share their experiences over drinks. Finally we’ll find out who is the best rally driver during the price ceremony.
