Tours in and around Rotterdam

Rotterdam: World Port, World City. The city harbors are totally transformed and offer your guests a wealth of modern restaurants, bars and nightlife. Come, see and experience the new Rotterdam. There is also plenty to experience just outside of Rotterdam. The city is centrally located in the Netherlands, so there is a wealth of possibilities for day trips, ½ day trips and evening tours. We have taken the liberty to make some suggestions below. Just let us know which timeslots you have available, what kind of tour your group is interested in, and we can build you a customized program.

• Hop On Hop Off Busses Rotterdam. There are no standard ‘hop on hop off busses’ but why not run one during your conference for your own group? We can arrange for this, including expert guides. Highlights include the Erasmus bridge, the Euromast, the St. Laurens church or the museums of your choice, such as the harbour museum, the Art hall or The Historical Museum of Rotterdam.
• Amsterdam Day Trip. We can arrange for a day trip into Amsterdam, which is only 1 hour by bus from Rotterdam. The program is custom-made, but we suggest a city tour, whereby afterwards the group splits into a couple of smaller groups, whereby they can visit the museum of their choice, such as Anne Frank House or the Rijksmuseum. The Amsterdam day trip can also be combined with Volendam & Marken or with a canal tour. The tour can be done in ½ day or in evenings as well.
• Colour Spectacle at the Keukenhof. Open for 2 months only, from March – May, the Keukenhof is the worlds largest flower garden, filled with tulips, hyacints and daffodils.
• Gouda Day Trip. We can arrange a day trip into Gouda, which is only ½ hour by bus from Rotterdam. The program is custom-made, but we suggest a city tour, whereby afterwards the group splits into a couple of smaller groups, whereby they can visit the city monument of their choice, such as The St Janschurch, The Kaaswaag and the magical city hall. During the summer we suggest to take your guests to the typical Gouda cheese and old craft market.
• Leiden Day trip. We can arrange a day trip into Leiden, which is only 40 minutes by bus from Rotterdam city centre. A custom made program will guide your group into the monumental city of Leiden. We suggest making smaller groups and strolling through the beautiful gardens, along the windmills, churches, canals and city walls.
• Dordrecht Day trip. We arrange a day trip into the oldest city of Holland; Dordrecht, which is only 20 minutes by bus from Rotterdam centre. A historical city with over a thousand monuments, the historical city ports and the port island, which is still used nowadays. This day trip can be combined with a visit to the De Biesbosch National Park.
• Country Side, Mills & Fishing Villages. This tour goes to the South of the Netherlands, and can be combined easily with a Rotterdam city your. Your guests will visit the historical village of Kinderdijk, famous for its windmills, Leerdam, famous for its glass arts and glass trade and last but not least the fortress of Gorinchem. Take a nice stroll over the fortress walls and become familiar with the fortress triangle of the Netherlands.
