Destination Rotterdam
Rotterdam– Inspiring, Dynamic Metropolis & World Port
Rotterdam is the second largest conference destination in the Netherlands. This metropolitan has re-invented itself into a modern, dynamic international city and is situated on the banks of the Maas river. Even though the city is famous for its large harbour industry, Rotterdam offers much more than that. The impressive skyline is constantly expanding and the city is a cultural and economic hotspot. The city centre was hugely damaged during German bombing raids at the beginning of World War 2 – and ever since Rotterdam has been rebuild into a very modern city where architecture plays a key role. There are of course still historic sections to be visited, such as Delfshaven and Hotel New York, where many Dutch once departed to start a new life in America. Visit Rotterdam, and let your guests enjoy many cultural and sporting events, much exiting architecture, excellent conference facilities and a wide range of restaurants.
